Open call for submissions for international section of the Scénická žatva / Scenic Harvest 2026. Finals of the 104th year of theatre competitions in Slovakia, from 26 to 29 August 2026 in Martin, Slovakia.

The Musik Theater Festival is taking place in Hallein for the fourth time, this year involving international participation. The festival is dedicated to all areas of the performing arts that explore the various combinations of drama, music, dance, and song. As part of this year’s festival, we are excited to entertain our audience – as hosts of the International Theater Days – with a wide range of performances!

We are thrilled to announce that submissions are now officially open for performance applications to the next AITA/IATA International Amateur Theatre Festival, to be held in Wellington, New Zealand, in 8–13 March 2027. Theme for 2027: Standing on the Edge (note: Companies are not required to adhere to the theme, but preference may be given to companies whose work resonates with or exemplifies the theme. ) The Organising Committee shall provide accommodation and meals for each selected company under certain conditions which you can read in festival rules.
