Open Calls

Four days of immersion in nature, performing arts, sharing discussion between artists, professionals from the cultural sector, teachers, parents, and adolescents in the context of the ForesTEEN project. The ForesTEEN Academy is back on Giglio Island in April 2026. You can apply to take part in the adventure supported by the European contribution as a teen (young people aged 15 to 25) OR as an artist, professional from the cultural sector, teacher, or parent of teenagers.

Be part of World Theatre Day 2026 and join a global celebration of the transformative power of theatre. AITA/IATA is creating a collaborative video featuring voices, movements, and performances from around the world—and we would love to include yours. We invite you to send a short video (up to 10 seconds) responding to one simple question: How has amateur theatre changed your life?

You can speak in any language, using up to 2 sentences, and please provide a written transcription in English, French, or Spanish. Your contribution doesn’t have to only include spoken text, it can include movement, visual storytelling, or puppet performances, as long as the message can be understood across cultures. Creativity is encouraged. All submitted videos will be woven together into one collective message from AITA/IATA members and followers worldwide. Video guidelines • Maximum length: 10 seconds • Maximum: 2 sentences • Format: MP4, 9:16 format, good image and sound quality • Language: any, with a written translation in English, French, or Spanish • Content: your answer to “How has theatre changed your life?”

OPENDOEK zoekt muzikanten die een krachtig anthem, themalied of muzikaal manifest willen creëren voor Louder Together. Dit nieuwe, internationale festival voor jonge performers en teacher artists vindt plaats van 21 tot en met 30 augustus in Antwerpen. Onder begeleiding van een gerenommeerd Vlaams artiest zorgt jouw muziek voor herkenning en verbinding bij een publiek uit alle windstreken.

OPENDOEK zoekt beeldend kunstenaars die een visueel krachtig aandenken willen creëren voor alle deelnemers van Louder Together. Dit nieuwe, internationale festival voor jonge performers en teacher artists vindt plaats van 21 tot en met 30 augustus in Antwerpen. Jouw werk moet een blijvende herinnering vormen, maar ook kunnen fungeren als opvallend landmark op de festivallocatie. Je werkt onder begeleiding van een gerenommeerde Vlaamse kunstenaar, die je ondersteunt in het creatieve proces.

Tijdens een Zoeklichtsessie kun je een een-op-eengesprek aangaan met een professionele dramaturg die één specifiek stuk van jou voordien doorneemt. In een veilige sfeer wordt jouw werk besproken.
