Het Bankje is a podcast project created by OPENDOEK that ran during the summers of 2020, 2021 and 2022. Writers and makers were invited to create short dialogues set on a bench, capturing small but meaningful encounters between people. The project resulted in a diverse collection of intimate, playful and sometimes surprising stories that show how a simple public bench can become a place of connection and imagination. All episodes are available to listen to in Dutch.
