What are you looking for?

Coaching

Do you want to create a completely different theatre production? Are you struggling to reach a younger audience? Or are some actors having trouble with their voices? Then coaching is the perfect solution for these challenges.

What is coaching?

You have a specific problem or a clear wish for your theatre group or as an individual maker. So, you can definitely use the help of an expert. OPENDOEK searches for a professional coach who is the perfect fit for your topic.

Looking for professional guidance?
Request your coaching

Your coaching request may focus on a specific production, but that is not required. Coaching can also be an opportunity for your group to explore another aspect of theatre.

The coach works with you and gives feedback on your chosen topic. Afterwards, you can continue the work on your own.

“The entire cast experienced this as a real added value. They received many tips they will carry into future productions. The coaching was perfectly tailored to everyone in the group.”
Musicalgroep Milo

A coach is not meant to take on executive tasks. They do not replace the director, the technician, or the make‑up artist. They coach you throughout the sessions.
The coach also comes to your location, so your group does not need to travel.

Cost

For all groups or individual makers, coaching costs 25 euros per hour. OPENDOEK covers the rest.

Who are the coaches?

OPENDOEK works with a large pool of freelance coaches. They have a professional training or sufficient experience.

Want to propose an external coach yourself? OPENDOEK checks whether the person is suitable for the assignment. The same coach can be proposed to you a maximum of two times in a row.

OPENDOEK works with fixed fees for coaches. The coach cannot be the director of the production or a member of your group.
