Before you can perform a play, you must request the copyright. From now on, you can submit (almost) all your requests through a single form on the OPENDOEK website.
Please note! This form is intended for performance rights only. If you want to be sure that a play may be performed, it is best to request this from the copyright administrator before you start rehearsing. If you do not know who manages the copyright for the play you have chosen, feel free to contact the Theaterbib at 03 222 40 95 or theaterbib@opendoek.be
Even if your theatre group is not affiliated with OPENDOEK, you can submit your request through this form. Affiliated groups receive discounts and other benefits through OPENDOEK, including a reduced SABAM rate of 11% on their income instead of the usual 12.6%.
Enter the name of the company or organisation under which you are submitting this request.
Enter the title of the text you will be performing. If you have adapted the title, please also include the original title.
Indicate how many people can be seated in the venue in total (if every seat is occupied).
Indicate how many seats you will make available (for example: if you only set out 50 of the 100 seats, enter ‘50’ here).
How much does a ticket cost? Please list all different rates.
List all music tracks you use during the performance. Also indicate the performer of the music and the length of the fragment you use.
