Are you passionate about lighting, sound, and/or scenography? Would you like to contribute creative ideas and gain hands-on experience in an international theater setting? Then this is your chance!
During Louder Together you will help create the festival’s opening performance. Together with a team of young people and artists - 10-21 August - you’ll support the artistic process by taking care of technical, sound, and/or scenography support. You’ll experiment, contribute ideas and help to shape the performance, under the guidance of choreographer/theater maker Hippolyte Bohouo and scenographer/lighting designer Stef Stessel.
Louder Together is an international conference and festival where young people, artists and companies from around the world come together to explore the performing arts, exchange ideas and create. During the festival, you’ll also have access to performances, workshops and opportunities to meet international participants.

As a freelancer, he has worked with companies such as: Het Toneelhuis, Hetpaleis, KVS, Bronks, Muziektheater Transparant, Laika, Arsenaal, De Kopergietery... His work is characterized by a strong visual language in which light and space play a central dramaturgical role and in which he often collaborates with creators such as Inne Goris, Simon De Vos and Carly Wijs.
Hippolyte Bohouo is a Belgian-Ivorian choreographer and theatre-maker whose work explores themes of identity, connection, and social justice. After graduating from the School of Theatre and Dance in Abidjan, he collaborated with renowned choreographers such as Kamel Ouali and Georges Momboye before settling in Belgium in 2010.
His performances - including Pourquoi ne parles-tu pas (2014), Tour d’ivoire (2016), and Miettes de vie (2021, École des Sables) - blend dance, theatre, and urgent storytelling. Hippolyte enjoys working with young people, as seen in projects like EDERED (2024), where he co-created powerful and inclusive performances. His approach is open, connective, and socially engaged, aiming to give every voice a stage.
